Are you choosing the right influencer to market your brand?

0

We all know the importance of marketing. And thanks to the boom of technology, we now have myriad ways to market a business, product, or service. Each era has its own popular marketing trend, and right now, Influencer marketing is the best way to build your brand.

According to Mediakix, one of the leading influencer marketing agencies, 80% of marketers find influencer marketing to be effective, and 71% say that the traffic and engagement rate is much high in Influencer marketing than any other form of marketing.

So, why is it so popular?

Because they (influencers) are personally invested in their crafts. Micro-influencers are trusted sources of recommendations for followers. The Game isn’t just getting eyeballs, but getting eyeballs that care.

The reason behind the success of Influencer marketing is very simple, really. Let’s say you are looking for a hair salon. The first thing you will do is search on Google. You can easily find a good hair salon using the ratings and reviews, etc. Let’s call it option A.

Now, you find a video of someone getting a haircut from another hair salon. Let’s call it option B, and it has similar reviews and ratings as option A.

Which one will you choose? Obviously, B, right? Reviews and ratings are great and all, but at the end of the day, we believe in what we see.

That’s it. That is the main reason behind the success of Influencer marketing. Now that we have learned how influencer marketing works, it is time to ask the next important question.

How to choose the right influencer for your business marketing?

#1 – Consider your budget:

The cost of one post from an influencer can vary anywhere from $10 – $500,000. So, the first thing you might want to consider is your budget. Then you can easily find an influencer who suits your budget.

Some micro and nano influencers might even promote your brand for free products and services. And 45% of influencers say they would work for free if it is a brand they love.

#2 – Type of post:

Now, this one depends on the product or service you want to promote. A simple Instagram post will be enough for a clothing store. But a youtube video will be more successful if you aim to promote a new makeup line. So, decide what type of post will bring more results to your brand.

#3 – Consider your targeted audience:

Every influencer has his/her own niche and has followers who are related to that particular niche. So, choose an influencer who can help you reach your targeted audience.

Influencers are a great way to increase your brand reach. It is a more flexible and affordable alternative to ads and other forms of promotions. Even large brands are using influencers to leverage their audience. And it is high time small businesses learn from them and use influencer marketing to their advantage.
