Denbigh’s Award-Winning Butcher, Daniel Morris, Expands To Ruthin!

Success is not all about luck; but about dedication, tireless efforts and determination to overcome every obstacle on the way.

Daniel Morris is a living example of the saying. Through determination and firm belief, Daniel has succeeded resoundingly in becoming the owner of the same building where he was working as a Saturday boy for over 20 years.

Daniel announced through his Facebook post, saying, “We’re thrilled to announce that Daniel Morris Butchers is opening a brand-new store in Ruthin!”

“Get ready for the finest locally sourced meats, freshly prepared daily by our skilled butchers. From premium cuts to homemade sausages and delicious pies, we can’t wait to bring our quality products closer to you.”

From Employee to Owner

Before landing where he is now, Daniel started his career in the butchery industry as a Saturday Boy. It was a very simple and humble start, about two decades ago. Over these years, Daniel honed his skills and mastered the art of butchery, with his hard work and dedication.

Hard work never fails to pay off! In January 2019, the opportunity he waited for years fell into his lap. Without further delay, he took on the shop’s lease, where he had been an employee all these years.

“Daniel’s vision of owning his own shop became a reality as he proudly placed his name above the door,” a line on his website reads.

As he opened the shop, he gained positive responses from the community, where he served the community with broadened supplies as well. He blends traditional butchery techniques with a modern approach to cater to the needs of diversified customers.

Now he has shops in two locations in Denbigh – Vale Street and Well Street, Ruthin (which is the new location). Amidst expanding both geographically and by team, his commitment and dedication to quality remains unshattered. He is backed up by his wife, family and team of 15 professionals.
