Killer Ice Cream has announced the commencement of its journey in the month of February, welcoming all the ice cream enthusiasts and connoisseurs across Vancouver. Currently, the space is undergoing some transformation. The shop is going to offer the perfect companion for this spring season.
The force behind the exciting kickstart is a lovely couple – Lesli Phelan, a Muralist and graphic artist, and her husband, German Glick, who share a passion for whales, art, and ice cream. The Killer Ice Cream (named after the killer whales) is born out of their united passion and resolute mission. “The vision is to create a world where ice cream meets art and vibrant palettes, which delight all senses and palates. Secondly, to raise funds for the killer whale protection agencies and nonprofits like Double Bay Sanctuary,” said the couple via their website.
Not Just Another One:
The Glick Couple aspires to establish it as more than just another run-of-the-mill ice cream parlor. This made the couple choose the location nestled where Kitsilano and West Point Grey meet, within the vibrant ambiance of an active beachside neighborhood.
Lesli outlooks the space as “the perfect canvas,” where she can infuse her artistry and design expertise to craft an immersive experience.
In realizing this dream, Killer Ice Cream will not only tantalize taste buds but also captivate hearts with its immersive art-infused atmosphere. Further, it will showcase “Killer Ice Cream’s unique brand of natural decadence.”
