New Seasons Market’s Latest Store in Milwaukie! What should you know?

New Seasons Market is the world’s first Certified B Corp Grocer, which has been offering the best food and meat products to the Oregon and Washington communities. Recently the company announced that it is preparing for the inauguration of its new store in Milwaukie. This grand opening will be celebrated on 27th March 2024 at 10830 SE Oak Street, Milwaukie, OR 97222. 

“As the doors swing open at New Seasons Market Milwaukie, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the warmth and support for our incredible community. Together, let’s continue to cultivate a vibrant, healthy, and thriving neighborhood. Thank you for welcoming us,” stated Joe McCarthy, Store Manager.

The grand opening function will feature various events starting from the bread-breaking ceremony at 10 a.m., followed by live music, sampling, family activities, and appearances by an alpaca and an ilama. Moreover, The event will be attended by Lisa Batey – Milwaukie Mayor, representatives from Milwaukie’s Food Recovery Partner Clackamas Service Center, and store manager Joe McCarthy. 

What Can You Expect From New Seasons Market?

Occupying a 35,375 sq. ft space (which is larger than other New Seasons Market stores), the shop aims to offer more than just grocery – it aspires to become a vibrant hub for the community. On that note, the New Seasons Market Milwaukie establishment will feature, 

  • A range of locally sourced organic everyday staples as well as bulk foods
  • Fresh and locally sourced organic produce straight from Pacific Northwest farmers
  • A sustainable seafood and meat section
  • Seasonal deli choices prepared by Chef
  • Products such as artisan cheeses, and delectable baked goods, along with a wide selection of beer, wine, and cider. 
  • A separate section for floral items, homemade goods from local artisans, and wellness items. 

Upon the new store, Batey commented, “We are thrilled to have New Season’s open its doors to our city.”
