Momo Korean Egg Drop, a popular food chain from the Philippines, has chosen a spot in the Sacramento area to launch its first US establishment. According to its Instagram Page, it will occupy the space at 8848 Calvine Road, Suite 160, in Elk Grove, inside Bober Tea & Coffee. While the grand opening is scheduled for 1st June, the team has planned to host a soft opening phase between 20th May to 31st May.
According to its website, Momo Korean Egg Drop was first opened in the Philippines in August 2021, by a group of five friends. Just like others in the food and beverage industry, the Pandemic hit Momo hard, which led them to conceive a new brand. Being avid K-drama fans, “we decided to adopt one of the popular foods featured in our favorite Kdrama, the Egg Drop Sandwich.”
They have shops in various locations including Quezon City, SM Roxas Capiz, SM Marilao, and more in the Philippines. Momo also offers party cart services and franchises as well.
With this new establishment, they have just begun their global presence and aim to bring the Korean Egg Drop Sandwiches to the United States.
Momo Korean Egg Drop’s Menu:
Typically, Korean Egg Drop Sandwiches are made with fluffy scrambled eggs and thick-cut bread. At Momo, sandwiches are meticulously prepared to bring them to a delicious and satisfying taste, using milk bread, cheddar cheese, and soft scrambled eggs.
Besides its signature Korean Egg Drop Sandwiches, Momo also serves its clients different sandwich varieties such as
- Seoul Spam – made with spam, sliced mango, nori, and Momo sauce & bread.
